Coherence and transparency are key elements to gain and generate trust. The best companies are those who succeed in delivering both aspects. But, what happens when companies spot external threats or identify internal weaknesses that could lead to a crisis and damage their reputation?

Crises commonly occur when one or more external events and one or more internal causes happen at the same time and in the same space. When threat and weakness clash, reputation is adversely impacted.
